What it is

Enclomiphene is one of the two isomers that make up clomiphene citrate (the other, zuclomiphene, is thought to contribute more of the side effects). As a standalone compound, it's been trialled specifically as a way to raise testosterone while preserving — rather than suppressing — natural fertility and sperm production.

It's a genuinely interesting middle ground between TRT and doing nothing, and published trial data (including work sometimes referred to as the Restore programme) has been promising. It is not, however, a routinely licensed standalone medicine in the UK — access is generally via specialist private clinics prescribing off-label or importing.
