What it is

Sermorelin is a shortened, active fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone. It was previously marketed as a licensed diagnostic and treatment product (Geref) before being discontinued commercially, not for safety reasons but for business ones.

It's now mainly available through US compounding pharmacies and research-chemical suppliers. The pharmacology (it does stimulate a real GH pulse) is well characterised from its earlier licensed history; the modern anti-ageing/recomp marketing goes well beyond what it was ever approved for.
