What it is
Ipamorelin stimulates the pituitary to release growth hormone, and is valued in the community for being relatively selective (less effect on cortisol and appetite than some alternatives). It is frequently paired with CJC-1295.
Human pharmacology data exists showing it does raise GH, but robust long-term outcome trials for the physique/anti-ageing uses it's marketed for are lacking.
The science, graded
What’s claimed — and how strong the evidence behind each claim actually is.
“Raises growth hormone levels”
Human pharmacology confirms a GH pulse; this specific mechanism is fairly well supported.
Claim-level citation mapping is in progress.
“Improves body composition / recovery / sleep”
Widely reported by users; not established in controlled outcome trials.
Claim-level citation mapping is in progress.
“Anti-ageing effects”
A marketing leap. Raising GH is not the same as proven anti-ageing benefit.
Claim-level citation mapping is in progress.
