What it is

Thymosin Alpha-1 is a naturally occurring thymic peptide that helps regulate T-cell immune responses. Under the brand Zadaxin it has been an approved medicine in several countries (mainly for chronic hepatitis B/C and as an immune adjunct in some cancer and vaccine settings).

It is not licensed in the UK or US. What's sold to the peptide community as a general 'immune balance' or inflammation product is a research chemical, not the regulated pharmaceutical, even though the molecule is identical.
