What it is

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist and, unlike the research peptides on this list, it is a fully licensed prescription medicine with large phase-3 trials behind it (the STEP and SUSTAIN programmes).

We include it because people search for it alongside 'peptides', but it belongs in a completely different lane: it is a regulated medicine that should only be used under medical supervision. Sourcing it outside the prescription system carries real safety and legal risk.
