What it is

Hexarelin produces one of the largest GH pulses of any secretagogue peptide, and has genuine human pharmacology studies behind that specific effect, including some interest in cardioprotective mechanisms in animal research.

It's also the GHRP most consistently associated with side effects like elevated cortisol and prolactin, and with desensitisation (reduced effect) after continued use — points the community itself raises more than for milder options like Ipamorelin.

The science, graded

What’s claimed — and how strong the evidence behind each claim actually is.

“Produces a very strong GH pulse”

Genuinely one of the better-documented effects in the GHRP class, from real human pharmacology studies.

“May support heart-muscle protection”

An interesting animal-research finding; not established as a human benefit.

Preclinical · animal only

“Free of the cortisol/prolactin issues seen with other GHRPs”

The opposite is closer to the documented pattern — this is the GHRP most linked to those side effects.
