What it is

RU-58841 was developed as a topical antiandrogen intended to block DHT's effect at the hair follicle without the systemic hormonal effects of oral antiandrogens. Early development showed promise, but it was never taken through to a completed, published clinical trial or product approval.

It has a long history of anecdotal use in hair-loss communities, compounded into topical solutions by specialist suppliers, with a large body of user-reported (not clinically trialled) experience.
