What it is

Melanotan II stimulates melanocortin receptors to increase melanin production, producing a tan without UV exposure. It's chemically related to PT-141/bremelanotide, which is part of why libido effects are also commonly reported.

The tanning mechanism is genuinely plausible and widely reported. What's important to be direct about: UK and other regulators have specifically warned about unlicensed Melanotan products sold online, citing documented adverse effects including nausea, new or changing moles, and reports linked to skin-cancer concern requiring dermatological review.
